It has been painfully obvious for *decades* that far-right wanted force US to listen to far-right speech while making other speech illegal, but our insanely stupid & short-sighted & hateful Elite joined them in pretending their anti-free-speech agenda was actually free-speech.

There is no amount of open corruption that will wake up Americans. That family has realized this crucial truth. They broke Senate, media and Supreme Court. Nobody dares to stand up. We live in a Republic of fear and cowardice.

Democrats Must Embrace War Mindset
We have exited a long period of peace and entered into a struggle not unlike war, in which all the old certainties have gone malleable and the future of the republic is at stake.

America's success has turned its people into degenerates who cannot help but destroy themselves, the good times have made them into weak soggy flesh that deserves the hellfire they have brought upon themselves with their petty bigotries and whoa I should probably get lunch, getting hangry here.
A challenge to politics-understanders: why was Biden so unpopular given the very good policy he delivered on wages, climate, & antitrust, among others? This is not an invitation to relitigate 2024, but rather explore what his political failure reveals about the underlying mechanisms of politics.
Ah, I see. I suppose I want deliverism to work, but fear Biden proves it doesn't, so I want someone to explain convincingly why some future attempt would be different. Perhaps that's not clear

Don't think I've ever felt this embarrassed to be an American. There's shame and anger too. But mostly embarrassment. We're the laughingstock of the developed world. And we should be.

It is fully irresponsible to argue for an American return to global leadership. This country is deeply unwell and has no business leading anything until that's no longer the case. There's a whole world out there capable of tending to the world's problems. We must tend to ours.
