I think we need to stop and consider what we look like from the outside. It's not weird that everybody else takes this seriously, it's weird that we're trying to talk people down by saying dad's just like that and he doesn't really mean it.

It's a sign of the mass psychosis gripping the US that anyone considers this a lark. You can't laugh off an American president casually threatening to annex sovereign nations. Canada's treating this as seriously as they need to and we deserve whatever bad things come. Fuck us up, eh.
Americans (myself included) tend to laugh off the Trump noises about annexing Canada as obvious nonsense, but the rest of the world is taking the threat seriously.

Our media should reflect that reality and hold him accountable for the serious damage he’s causing.
You can watch Christiane Amanpour realize in real time on CNN just how seriously Canadians are taking the annexation threats.

Dear Media:

Halting all aid to Gaza is not "pressuring Hamas." Collective punishment is a war crime. Starvation as a weapon of war is a war crime. Withholding medical care is a war crime. None of this is remotely controversial actually. Israel is doing war crimes, not "pressuring Hamas."

Real bummer when your rabid dog bites you in the bum.
Trump’s tariffs aren’t just crippling our trade relationships, they’re hurting real farmers on the ground in Minnesota.

I’ll keep standing up for the farmers who feed, fuel, and grow our country.

Exactly. MN media needs to ask Demuth, Johnson, and Plechash about this.

When we talk about Chauvin being pardoned for the federal crime, i assume the next step is hoping MN then elects a different Governor. One friendly to killer cops sentenced with aggravated enhancements such as killing in front of children and doing so with “particular cruelty”.

Chauvin being “innocent” is an article of faith for republicans in Minnesota. Be nice if MN media would ask Demuth et al about it.
That’s Derek Chauvin, the police officer convicted of murdering George Floyd.

I keep having to tell people eugenics didn’t start with Trump.

It’s quite literally the foundation of America and needs to be discussed as such.
