Wonder how people in mt pleasant would feel to know that a company working in their neighbourhood is working with ICE to deport and detain and abuse and kill
Join Democracy Rising in a protest against Hootsuite's involvement with #ICE. @Hootsuite.com is a #Vancouver tech company providing social media services. Their customers include the Department of Homeland Security and ICE.

We will live to see a world without them, because we have something worth fighting for and they have nothing. Love and solidarity to the people of Minneapolis and everyone protecting each other from ICE and the white nationalist campaign of violence they represent.

Wael Tarabishi, the last person I wrote about for the Star-Telegram, died on Friday.

Wael’s health declined rapidly after his father and primary caretaker, Maher, was detained by ICE last fall.

The Tarabishi family believes that if Maher had not been arrested, Wael would still be alive. I do too.
new: I wrote about Wael Tarabishi, a 30-year-old man with a rare genetic disorder, his father, Maher, who has spent the last 25 years keeping him alive, and the routine immigration appointment that led to ICE detaining his dad indefinitely.

Also, I wrote about Dragon Ball Z. Stay with me. (🎁 link)

I really don't think anyone in power is prepared for how deeply unsympathetic the country is going to be when one of these ICE goons finally gets what's coming to them. People will be lining up to spit on that flag draped coffin like it's a Disneyland ride

Their watchlist becomes useless if it contains most of the country. No matter how much money they have, they don't have enough guys, and the ones they do have are unemployable at real jobs. Let's keep making life miserable for these kidnappers

ICE agent asked why he's taking pictures of a legal observer's car, replies: "Cuz we have a nice little database and now you're considered a domestic terrorist. So have fun with that."

UPDATE: Now, 215 Minneapolis General Strike solidarity actions are being held around the country.

This could create serious momentum for strikes in other cities where ICE attacks.

This might be a problem verging on the level of "Hitler was a fake vegetarian" but it pisses me off to no end that JD Vance made his money in Silicon Valley, a place built and maintained by immigrant labor, and he turns around and stabs them all in the back. We welcomed you in, you piece of shit

These are fascists known to be active in the Chicago area. Many of them have been previously doxxed. Some regularly show up at protests to agitate. Let them know they are unwelcome!

I've said repeatedly that I will not support one dime of funding for Trump's lawless ICE operations.

The funding bill released today fails to sufficiently rein them in or ensure people's rights are protected.

I'm voting NO.

This week, the House votes on DHS funding.

I will not vote to give ICE a single cent.

No more blank checks for a rogue agency that operates above the law, escalates violence, and erodes our most basic freedoms.

Really genuinely sorry they fucked you like this & I think it's extremely reasonable to be crashing out HARD right now

Second: I'm gonna offer Bluesky tips and encourage ppl to share starter packs here
Man its like just so invasive and gross feeling to see "Edit Image" appear over other people's images. Musk decided to give us the only kind of gift he can for christmas, sickening disappointment. Best of luck out there folks.
