I took how to stop a coup training in 2020 before the election as we knew they had plans to steal the election…George Lakey did the training and it was excellent. Here he gives us some hope of what has worked before: wagingnonviolence.org/2025/01/can-...

One thing that isn’t talked about enough is how closely tied disability can be to homelessness. Many disabled people are forced into poverty in order to keep their medical benefits. By doing so, the income they receive isn’t enough to live off of. This isn’t a moral failing, it’s the system’s fault.

Very important point for healthcare providers in @kkjetelina.bsky.social’s newsletter this morning.

Bird flu shows up positive on our standard flu A tests.

If someone is flu A+ but has conjunctivitis, is more sick than expected, or had exposure to birds/cows, consider bird flu.

It’s important to remember that the person who stole FB from the actual idea guys did so because he felt rejected by the hot women on campus. This guy has always shown a us who he is. An incel who got lucky and was rewarded for very inappropriate behavior.

Just donated to a few of these…my heart breaks at our failure as a society to stop this genocide. Shame on humanity. 🥲
Okay I cannot even keep track of the number of people who have lost things in the rain in Gaza last night so I’m going to make a thread of accounts I’ve shared before who have contacted me today

🤓🤓🤓 100% accuracy in sorting who has long covid or NOT.
As frustrating as it is to have a chronic illness that doctors can’t help (most don’t even understand what it is) - the speed of research data coming out now is encouraging. #LongCovid
Important #LongCovid pilot study
"72 genes were identified as significantly up- or down-regulated in Long COVID samples, and the vast majority were downregulated. The most significantly up- or downregulated genes fell into 2 main categories, either associated with cell survival or with inflammation"
Our new Long COVID pilot study found two genes whose mRNAs separated a small cohort of Long COVID from recovered post COVID blood samples with 100% accuracy: www.frontiersin.org/journals/imm...

"Most of the disabled people I know who have long Covid probably read more studies about it than most doctors."

Whewww this whole article is great but a lot of y'all need to internalize this line.

Yes, most of us know more than your doctor about long covid. That's not hubris talking. That's facts.
“having to convince people that accessibility and disability justice are social justice issues in the first place is incredibly dehumanizing and exhausting and usually very fruitless."
