I have big Cradle Catholic With A Mathematics Degree energy
People really don't spend even like two seconds reading about the illness their loved one is afflicted with, do they

Whole lot of people on this planet need to learn to: give a fuck, do the work, and really show up

Further messing with a dementia patient's sense of reality is selfish and fucked up
The comments on this are all about how sweet it is and I feel insane. Using AI to make fake memories of your grandma with dementia and telling her they happened and then filming her reaction

Kids are playing with their Christmas presents but I'm going online to cyberbully the governor of Oregon

My best Christmas gift to myself this year is three solid nights of sleep in a row and counting.

I think Lyme recovery is gonna look like me having a different body every few months, bc a month or two ago my usual sleep supports stopped working as well, and I've had to figure out something new 🤔

I 100% agree this is where it's coming from, it's obviously been coordinated, and the timing near the holidays is certainly not an accident
I can't overstate that this spate of articles is likely due to one wealthy, awful person and terrible parent commissioning a press release.

Kids going no contact may or may not be on the rise, but someone funded this media blast as part of a personal vendetta-- I can guarantee it.

I almost can't believe the audacity

"Pausing local new taxes in the Portland area"

Chat, do you think overriding the will of the voters in the biggest city in your state is a good re-election strategy? Asking for a governor.

(For those out of state: the new taxes were funding universal preschool)
Cutting property taxes for Oregonians affected by wildfires. Canceling planned freeway tolls. Pausing local new taxes in the Portland area. We have to keep going to make life more affordable for Oregonians.

I gotta hand it to @clairewillett.bsky.social , "Finding Mr. Christmas" is extremely good and I will probably be binging it for much of tomorrow 😂

I even got a friend who usually is not a reality show fan to watch a little bit with me and they also had to admit it's pretty good lol

please do not make me tap the sign reminding folks how many survivors of CSA were victimized specifically by given family members
Yeah, no thanks.

Stop guilting people about being estranged from family members. It someone is they likely have personal reasons for being so.

speaking of

guys I do not understand how doctors offices can send prescriptions to the wrong place as often as they do

I am truly going to start finding non-rx options for as many prescriptions as I can this year just bc I am tired of dealing with haphazard medical offices
I literally exclaimed to myself "welp looks like this is another job for Dr. Violette" the other day regarding some fresh symptom hell a prudent person should ideally email their doctor about, but I knew I wouldn't get any support for it so may as well just do my own research and try my own guesses

idk who needs to hear this but the olive leaf from Mountain Rose Herbs is like 5 times as strong as what you get from Frontier Co-op

I found this out the hard way by making massively too-strong tea and am now sipping it very slowly 😅

I'm tired of this fascist bullshit, man
The Atlantic suggesting, without evidence, that Canada's Global TV broadcasting the '60 Minutes' segment on CECOT that CBS distributed to it may have been an act of "treachery."

This is very much why we're seeing messaging about how nobody is really disabled, nobody needs accommodations, ppl are pretending to be disabled to get on airplanes, MAID. Insurance companies are popping out press releases to create a permission structure to ensure they can still earn a profit,

long live the internet! 🫡
Sharing 60 Minutes CECOT segment 1/2 a day after it was spiked restores some of my faith in humanity to circumvent censorship & authoritarian rule. Using internet this way during a time oligarchs are desperate to control us w/ AI is resistance to backsliding of democracy & rise of fascism✊ Well done

There's someone in my apartment building who leaves their dog, who

will

not

stop

barking,

for hours at a time.

It's honestly to the point where my concern for the distressed dog's well-being matches the utter annoyance of the whole thing.

All-person N95 continuous wear mandates in schools and health care until ASHRAE 241 clean air standards are met. Put ENGINEERS in charge of controlling ventilation-preventable disease, they way they control water-borne disease. Physicians have none of the expertise required. Get them out of the way.
Sick and tired?

Influenza test positivity is very high in Ontario and remains the highest in children (5-11 yrs) at 73.3% and adolescents (12-19 yrs) at 67.3%. COVID-19 and RSV are also circulating.

These viruses are airborne: we get sick by breathing them in!

But it doesn't have to be this way!
