Yes, AND you can damn the eight senators who sold out to him.
I will not let people forget that the same Republicans who did everything in their power to make tax breaks for billionaires PERMANENT refused to even negotiate ONE YEAR of health care tax credits for working families.

Found the tweet that Joyce Carol Oates bodied Elon Musk with and it's so beautiful in its eloquent, simple take down. So much so he's crashing out trying to prove he reads books now. Put this in the Louvre.

You can't end homelessness without housing.

Portland's Mayor removed the expert leading us toward proven solutions (social housing = what works in Vienna).

The City Council voted unanimously for this work. Our community deserves better.

Committing to dismantle systems of oppression will always get my vote.
NEW: Dems easily flipped the sheriff's office in Pennsylvania's Bucks County, a big swing county in the Philly suburbs.

So? The incumbent GOP sheriff had contracted with ICE. His Dem challenger promised to end the contract.

Now he wants other swing-state Dems to look at his victory as a lesson:
Voters Ousted This Pennsylvania Sheriff After He Signed Up to Collaborate With ICE - Bolts
A populous, swing county replaced its GOP sheriff on Tuesday after months of controversy over his joining ICE’s 287(g) program. The Democratic winner promises he’ll end the contract.

Seriously, it takes less than five minutes of your time to help our unsheltered, immigrant, refugee neighbors and the nonprofits who help them.

I've got a few minutes to send my support for @councilormorillo.bsky.social budget amendment. If you've got time, I hope you can too.

Drop the mayor and your district council persons an email, phone call, and/or fax.

Sweeps and incarnation are not humane and solve nothing. Help the helpers.
Portland City Councilor Angelita Morillo proposes reallocating $4.3 million from sweeps to support rent assistance, food access, & immigrant and refugee services.✔️

Testify in support of the Morillo 1 amendment here, to re-balance the budget toward proven solutions: www.portland.gov/council/docu...
Portland City Council will consider an amendment next week to redirect $4.3 million from the city program that sweeps homeless encampments. If passed, the budget adjustment will instead invest $2 million in rent and food assistance, and support for immigrants and refugees.

Over the weekend, the Mayor started calling nonprofits warning them their funding would disappear if this passed. 🙃 Except… most of them don’t even get money from that sweeps budget.

Nice try though.

I voted HELL NO on a CR deal that betrays millions of people who rallied, organized, and voted to save health care for 20 million Americans. Giving into a bully does nothing to stop him. I’ll keep fighting against Trump’s authoritarianism and attempts to gut community resources.

Please note that our reps are not more informed or savvy or masterfully strategic than we are.

They’re just people, often extremely ill-informed, compromised, and arrogant.

Never take this kind of guff from these clowns.

Here's an interesting way to message your Senators. You can (and should) also message Schumer.

Im gonna give this a try.

Don't let them cave
November 9, 2025 at 9:32 PM
@wyden.senate.gov @merkley.senate.gov
Do not give up this fight. Do not let Schumer concede to these fascists.
I'm hearing the same thing. Dems are nearing a surrender. I'm shocked. Largest protest in history + best election night in years + polling showing we're kicking their ass in public opinion. And now Dems may cave.

It ain't over til it's over, so please do call if you've got a Dem senator.
Sounds like the squishes in the senate caucus are ready to pull the plug with no ACA changes. This is real. If you want to register your opinion you shld call yr senator in the next hour. They not only want to reopen w/nothing. They want cover from their colleagues who still want to hold out.
