Just your irregular reminder that you're allowed to enjoy the process of writing. I know jokes about how hard and frustrating writing is are super common, but if the actual act of writing—not just the feeling of having a product after you're done—is not enjoyable, you do not have to write.

this is a VERY good read and i am shaking hands with the author. a lot of this is why i severely dialed back my own social media use over the last couple years.

i spent this afternoon re-watching the fall of the house of usher whilst replacing a torn panel in my wife's purse. considering finding a nice trim for the edges since i cut the piece a little close in some places, but i'm pleased with the result for now!

I found a book I loved as a child featuring paintings by 2 Chinese artists who traveled thru Pakistan in 1981 and Jesus Christ the art is just as beautiful as I remember. I haven't seen this book in 2 decades. I want to cry.
