Mostly I don’t care about Game Of Thrones. But if I could start with a panel of characters, pick one or two or three, and then just follow their stories, I’d reconsider. If I could just watch, say, ARYA: MY LITTLE MURDER BABY, that would be a good thing.

There’s a basilosaurus skelly hanging overhead in the Smithsonian. Its entire purpose is to make people say “god, I’m glad that thing isn’t around anymore!”

If any of these a.i. apps did what they claim to do they would be charging $5k per month for a single seat.
Sora 2 apparently cost something like $5 billion to run every year and so far made OpenAI around $1.4 million.

Wasn’t it delicious? So if they want to do Klingon musicals now, I am here for it!
For me it was the crazy checkerboard hair weave on Yeoman Rand, which later became the outrageous boob clinging shiny poly fiber fabrics on every other alien woman to show up... and finally the film's casual wear on McCoy and Checkov. It never let up with the embarrassment.

I was thinking how when Scott Adams was about to go and rightwingers were saying “you have no idea what impact it’s going to have when Scott Adams dies, he was loved by millions” and then he just died and nothing happened. These ghouls just disappear when they stop talking

In some fantasy story I write later, I intend to write about a sex worker turned archmagus, and I want to give her inner development the same kind of treatment authors do other tradesmen-turned-wizards, where she conceptualizes and succeeds at magic through the mental model of the trade she knows.

Honestly this is so important to internalise. I talk about this so much in workshops. You have to produce shitty work in order to produce good work. So stop being afraid of the shitty work. Just do it. Pick up the pen or pencil and write or draw or dance or sculpt and trust and enjoy the process.
