We're challenging this terrible Labour Government.

And we're ready to take on Reform.

I spoke with the Guardian:

‘We were missing in the conversation’: how Zack Polanski hit on plan to beat Reform at their own game
This time last year Polanski was barely known outside the party. Now he’s hoping for success at May’s local elections – by taking a page from Nigel Farage’s playbook

I've never really understood this backstory for Blake. If he was a well-known dissident, what would be the point of erasing his memories? Surely he'd be meeting people all the time who knew of his background?
'The Way Back', the first episode of Blakes 7, was originally broadcast on this day in 1978.

Is there any precedent for powerful people claiming that a nonsentient process has a personality behind it that only they and their fellow experts can understand and speak for and it knows everything and can do anything and wants to help and also it will destroy us if we dont give it what it wants

Don Heck was BOTD in 1929. Here's a kickass story by him from 1954. Fantastically expressive faces and dynamite panel transitions. So much energy and imagination on display here. (1 of 2)

The copyright protection that Labour intends to remove from artists is the one that also protects people from having their holiday snaps turned into porn on twitter. If it is fair game for generative AI to slopify books, films and music, then your personal photos will also be fair game.

I'll bet you're all wondering what are the 12 greatest comic book villains Stan Lee invented without any help at all from Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko? Well, wonder no longer, True Believers! Here they are! 1/3

I watched #28YearsLater last night. The performances were strong, the setting convincing, and it built to an ending that I found genuinely moving.

And then they stuck in an epilogue which was so idiotic I thought I had hallucinated it. WTF?!

Jerry Robinson (Jan 1, 1922-Dec 11, 2007) co-created the Joker and Robin, taught Steve Ditko how to draw, forced DC to make a deal with Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster and looked like Roy Scheider. What a dude.

Watched Little Miss Sunshine again last night. Jeez, look at this cast: Greg Kinnear, Toni Collette, Alan Arkin, Paul Dano, Steve Carell and little Abigail Breslin who got an Academy Award nomination. THAT'S how you cast a movie.

I've never watched the extended cuts of the Lord of the Rings movies and I was thinking of giving them a try.

I have only one question: do they include the songs?
