A very real trend I've observed:

Characters bending over backwards to use the correct language and discussing consent and their mental health and so on and then in the same breath casually dropping the fact that they're on their way to genocide some werewolves or whatever.

Just a reminder for folks who never touch their settings - pls spend a few min to customize your Bluesky experience, esp if labels piss you off.

For one, you can turn off adult content in Settings > Moderation

You can also choose enable but restrict certain things (see Alt for more)

Sceencap of Bluesky Moderation setting. There is a button to Enable adult content. Turning it off disables all adult content. If enabled, you can choose to Show, Warn or Hide posts. Show will show you a post without a warning label. Warn will show a censored post with a label, you need to click the image to view it. Hide will just not show you a post on your feed.
