A Christmas card I designed a few years ago.

I still have the production files - ready to go on a Cricut - if anyone is interested.

The decorations I did with interference gold and an airbrush, but you could also use any color you like, or a sponge, or draw them on, or use stickers.

Was wondering what a monster/furry would look like with digitigrade arms (since they always get the legs paired with human arms) and ended up reinventing bats and agumon.

Oh there are tons of great options - like trimming overlapping lines, for instance. But I hate that a smooth eraser leaves those garbled lines like in the example.

But you can also do stuff like this super easy.

Nah. The erase options are either "erase badly" or "make a new vector that is an erase line" both of which I kind of hate

The "concept art" is probably second stage development. They made shitty initial art, like this panda sketch, then had AI draw over it with a very reigned in overpaint, and from there had it generate many much looser interpretations and picked the look they liked the most and modified it.

The "erasing out completed paintings" portion is essentially re-rolling unwanted elements. The parts they want to keep stay the way they are, and the elements they want changed get regenerated. This is what is happening in the segments where parts are randomly swapping and flipping through parts.

I would have gone with the more direct comparison but I drew this for art fight last year and it's not my character, which altogether seemed a weird choice.

For awhile it was definitely cultists.

But I also have a penchant for drawing "sexy demons" and "sexy men in alternative fashion." You know, the guilty pleasures.

Post processing is basically half of what photographers do and as a digital artist you too have been gifted with this incredible tool that real media artists wish they had.

Hey, a note for all my darling artists, I can't help but notice an increasing amount of images showing up lately that are being absolutely throttled by a lack of tonal variation. Maybe it's because your screens are too bright, or your media is too gray.

In any case, post processing is your friend.
