The only person who is very open about wanting to be leader is Brian Schatz. And Brian Schatz is awful.
Here is an exchange I had with him on January 6th where he flagrantly and knowingly violated his oath by helping install Trump as president despite a Supreme Court ruling about this.

This is what I want to start emphazising more to our "leaders" in the United States Congress.
These people think they have a hard time now? Wait till people start putting basic facts together and realize what an obscenely gigantic role they are playing in protecting insurrectionists.

And I will add, the longer they continue this stupid game, the more and more criminal exposure they have to providing aid/comfort to insurrectionists, an extremely serious charge.

Also, Durbin was lying the whole time, because Feinstein’s condition was an open secret across both sides of the aisle in the Senate for months and he did and said nothing.
He is not a friend, he is not a flawed ally. He is an active enemy and should be treated like any other fascist.

Durbin lied on national television and said because Feinstein was sick and not physically there in person, it was impossible to issue subpoenas in regards to the SCOTUS corruption scandal.
But his own website specifically stated that they allowed proxy voting.

look at what this leadership did with oversight powers of SCOTUS in the middle of multiple devastating scandals for the conservatives. look at the half assed impeachments and half-assed oversight during the teens.

I feel like anyone who dealt with Schumer's office for any prolonged amount of time would realize he is hardly a Machiavellian genius.

We got a notice just yesterday that our premium was going up by $300 and the deductible our going up by 50%, just because. It’s already bad overpriced insurance but the only affordable option to keep our kid’s pediatrician (who has been vital to his health issues). Great work by everyone involved.

We are less than a year into this administration so the idea we need to wait until 2027 for real action to be taken is downright ludicrous.

Rhetorical pleas against infighting are always begging the question about who's actually on the same side as you.
The sooner we get past internal recriminations and back to fighting united, the better off we all are — the likelier our victory next November.

I was thinking about it and I can't get over how Indivisible is so fixated on the Schumer part of this whole ordeal.
Something is really not right here. This smells of some stupid power play to elevate some ally.
At no point have they even articulated what they actually want to see from a leader.

Why economists called Kathy Hochul’s $850 million Buffalo Bills deal a ‘boondoggle’
The agreement would be the largest public funding of a sports stadium in U.S. history.

It is honestly so annoying how all these politicians are playing for spin and clearly do not give a shit about all the lives they are ruining. @governor.ny.gov is the worst.
Interesting that NY gov Kathy Hochul felt compelled to put out a statement against Dems' deal to end the shutdown

If I somehow became a senator (this will never happen) with Trump as President and Republicans controlling the Senate, I would just obstruct everything as loudly and publicly as I could.
I'd camp out overnight randomly and force quorum calls, etc. It'd be FUN to obstruct these malignant assholes.

If you’ve got a Senate Democrat who is not calling for new leadership, they’re part of the problem.
We should no longer trust Senate Dems who decline to come out against the leadership that led us here. Until proven otherwise, we should assume they were in on the game to fool their own supporters.
