Senate Gabe
@senategabe.bsky.social
Did stuff in the US Senate for a bunch of years.

Fight the fucking fascists.

Signal: @SenateGabe.33
He also ran away from this platform once we all started asking him hard questions about why he fast tracked multiple Trump nominations so he could leave town early and get beers/pretzels at the Munich conference.

Van Hollen wants to be President so he wouldn't want to be everyone's punching bag

Schiff is an awful person, a Pelosi plant, a freshman, and a crypto shill.

Warnock is a freshman and also a crypto shill.

Murray already has the approps committee and doesn't want to be the caucus's punching bag.

He is a terrible manager and refused to support staff unionization when I contacted his office about it.

He has the Health, Education, Labor and Pensions committee gavel and he's not going to want to take the arrows on behalf of the caucus.

It is extremely not difficult to see how they are running afoul of this law and I have the highest confidence that a jury would agree.

So they need to start thinking about how they avoid getting to such a trial because once they are in that courtroom, their best lawyers will not save them.

I never worked with his office of course because he is new.

He has shown zero signs of being remotely capable of doing something useful in the job so it would be a hail mary at best.

Assuming a good person is challenging them, I would just go along with that person. I certainly would not support them unless they are willing to make some serious changes to their behavior.

Believe Bennet is running for governor though.

And I will add, the longer they continue this stupid game, the more and more criminal exposure they have to providing aid/comfort to insurrectionists, an extremely serious charge.

Not minority leader material, that's for sure.
November 11, 2025 at 7:18 AM
My honest belief is if they stop being knuckleheads for five seconds, as they kinda sorta almost did by doing something as dramatic/unusual as shutting down the entire government, they can probably nudge us over the finish line of putting Trump in prison.

But all of them have to go.
November 11, 2025 at 7:17 AM
Amy Klobuchar? Are we kidding? Booker? That corrupt buffoon?

They can try to get rid of whoever they want. They aren't going to accomplish anything useful until at least a single one of them decides to not bowl over for fascism.
November 11, 2025 at 7:14 AM
They can only be expelled, not impeached :)
November 11, 2025 at 7:12 AM
Murphy would hire some good people but suffice to say, it would be a complete disaster to put him in charge.

Don't even get me started on Schatz.
November 11, 2025 at 7:09 AM
Sure they are empty suit losers, so is everyone else in the chamber! Warren's office might have been the closest to competence but she doesn't want to be leader because then she doesn't get her banking chair slot.
November 11, 2025 at 7:09 AM
Maybe another time I'll tell my staffer rebellion stories but it wasn't that hard to fight against the system with them! They said no and then the second there was any even hint of more dramatic pressure they caved like nothing.

She's great!
November 11, 2025 at 7:01 AM
Seriously, it was great watching Angus King make a fool of himself on Morning Joe. If they all started pointing fingers at each other in the public arena, then we can all discuss whose arguments are good and whose aren't.

Instead they play these shadow games because they are scared of the light.

Thank you!

It's dysfunctional but there is no magical way to fix it with dysfunction.

Which is why I'm so against all this palace intrigue behind the scenes backstabbing. Let's battle royale this in public and get it over with.
November 11, 2025 at 6:58 AM
Yeah. The reason why is a lot of very cynical people with big platforms are trying to abuse everyone's trust for their own ends and not giving them the full story.

Also a majority of voters already support impeachment, including 20% of Republicans.

Well there is about to be a very large three day national protest on the national mall on November 20th pushing for exactly this, several members have already introduced articles, and even Harpers had a piece on why it is necessary (which I was quoted in but did not ask for or anything).
