With all due respect, you're a United States Senator and that's a rent-a-cop from a private security firm with no authority to stop you.

You can't just take no for an answer here.
We were just denied entrance into the EPA after asking to meet with a DOGE representative. More to come.

It was always true that if you were going to protest an administration, a Harris admin might have listened. A Trump admin wouldn’t. Some of those purporting to care about Gaza certainly had a weird way of showing it.
'Very troubling': Leader of 'Abandon Harris' movement now anxious about Trump appointees
In interviews with NBC News, prominent members of the "Abandon Harris" maintained they made the right decision to either not vote for Vice President Kamala Harris or cast their ballot for Donald Trump...

In a letter to Biden, Adeel Mangi calls out the 3 Dem senators who caved to the GOP's Islamophobia: "They lack the wisdom to discern the truth, which exposes a catastrophic lack of judgment; or they used my nomination to court conservative voters, which exposes a catastrophic lack of principle."

Hi everyone.

The Onion, with the help of the Sandy Hook families, has purchased InfoWars.

We are planning on making it a very funny, very stupid website.

We have retained the services of some Onion and Clickhole Hall of Famers to pull this off.

I can't wait to show you what we have cooked up.
The Onion Buys Alex Jones’s Infowars Out of Bankruptcy
The satirical news site planned to turn Infowars into a parody of itself, mocking “weird internet personalities” who peddle conspiracy theories and health supplements.

Yes yes yes. I have run a 24/7, 365 operation since I got elected. I have a permanent campaign HQ that rotates between off-year and on-year organizing.

People thought it was nuts when I first set it up. I said you’re setting yourself up for disaster if you only show up 6 mos before an election.
We also treat “the campaign” as if it’s something that occurs June-November. What the right knows and excels at is that the campaign exists every day, all year around. Dems need to do a better job of touting their legislative wins and bashing the gop for opposing popular bills that help real people.
The ironic thing about post election chatter is that a lot of the time it’s candidates who lost, underperformed, or underworked who have endless time to go on TV and share their blame story.

And for their part, journalists rarely EVER ask if that person actually ran a functionally solid campaign

“the white male moderate midwestern governor is too left wing to appeal to swing voters” is such a laughable take. perfect example of how the only real thing these folks believe is that anything that makes lefties happy must be bad.

Trump has good days and he has bad days but increasingly it's been bad days. He can't put a coherent sentence together or keep his train of thought but the media is very impressed THAT HE CAN STILL SHOUT. His brains are leaking out his ears.

I've settled on this position and affirmatively think Biden should remain in the race come hell, high water, or his own death.

The utter panic everyone has felt is not a sign that Biden should resign but that the moment when the election is *real* and its outcome uncertain has arrived.
The NYT is not going to be nice just because AG Sulzberger’s ego was fed. We will have 1,001 stories between now and Election Day about how weak democrats are for running a candidate who didn’t win a Democratic primary, framed by “Trump is so powerful he caused a sitting D President to resign.”

In reality, reform, or the credible threat thereof, is the most responsible, institutionally minded, and possibly politically galvanizing course of action—three cheers for checks and balances!—but it requires a political party and leadership that's resolute and primed for battle.

My fuller thesis is that the time has come for Biden to stop treating court expansion as a political action to be avoided, and discuss it instead as a form of checking and balancing that the court has forced him to consider.
