Israel just bombed the last operational hospital in northern Gaza — again
When the bombing of hospitals was still taboo in October 2023, Israel denied bombing al-Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza City. This time, Israel claims it targeted a Hamas command-and-control center at the…

Feeling helpless about Palestine? Start by confronting the self-censorship that silences you. That fear is the goal of a decades-long propaganda campaign—and as long as it works, it wins. You don’t have to let it. And you don’t have to compromise your personal beliefs or ethics to speak up.

If even posting support for the Palestinians’ right to armed self-defense makes us fear personal consequences, then what hope do Palestinians have? How can we demand peace while silencing ourselves in the face of injustice?

It is a campaign of erasure: the systematic extermination of an occupied people, not for defense, but annihilation. Every man woman & child is marked for death or exile, every home, school, hospital reduced to ash. Now, even shedding a tear for this horror has become a crime in the land of the free.

Israel has again chased people out of tents and rubble-strewn former apartments, displacing 280,000 people -like rounding up St. Louis or Madison and forcing them out of their homes into the wilderness, while making sure they had no food or medical supplies. The scale of the sadism beggars belief.

Thread up and down, but this point in particular is key: all the relative luxury, safety, and functionality of modern society rests upon trust. We are social animals.

We did not evolve to be Mighty Warriors or to be led by Great Men.

We evolved to be neighbors. Neighborliness is our superpower.
Underlying the assumptions, though, are thousands of implicit trust relationships. Imagine needing to carefully close read and understand every End User License Agreement before you clicked “I Agree”. You simply do not have the time or expertise.

Cattle tearing up public lands in the American West is a taxpayer subsidized environmental catastrophe driving wildlife to the brink of extinction.

Getting cattle out is the step 1 of Western ecological restoration.

Can you guess the next step?
