If you understand that the modern patriarchy really objects to women owning themselves every other policy makes sense.
The rise of deepfakes and AI CSAM prove public and private sectors don’t actually care about abuse, but still punish sex workers, queer people, and women under that guise. Credit cards companies and law enforcement punish consensual sex and sexuality, but ignore and therefore encourage abuse

kind of darkly funny that "gender studies" is the stereotypical "useless degree" because gender studies will help you understand a large and important chunk of the current psychosis in american life

Every couple weeks I re-discover the fact that "a Claude subscription" is a separate thing from "Anthropic API credits", and am torn between being disgust and impressed with the naked greed.

I've decided to stop calling it "Twitter." Used to do that as an insult to Musk, a denial of his reality. But Twitter is dead and buried forever. It's just X, the Nazi site for Nazis, and that's all it will ever be. Get the fuck off.

Obscenely explosive start to a Magic game today - Ugin's Labyrinth into Sol Ring into Palladium Myr, turn 2 Conduit Of Ruin, Turn 3 Ulamog the Defiler for 6, turn 4 Echoes Of Eternity. I felt like apologizing.

There are a _lot_ of coding agents; Claude Code, Codex CLI, Gemini Code, etc., which (over-simplifying) are a tool-use layer over a model. Presumably these are optimized - both in model choice, and in tool propensity - for coding itself. I'm looking for recommendations for _generic_ agent frameworks

Someone should invent a `claude` that consistently and reliably reads `CLAUDE.md`. That would be great.

> non-technical people try to use AI tools to replace developers, but then share links to localhost:3000 - dev jobs are safe lol

If AI tools were able to get them from zero knowledge to "a working local instance" so quickly, why wouldn't they also help with deployment?

Everyone except billionaires hates capitalism, whether they know it or not. If they don't fully understand capitalism, they instead can only identify a thousand apparently-unconnected problems and complain about those, while failing to comprehend the underlying problem.
