THIS IS TERRIFYING‼️

Dr. Peter Marks, former head of vaccines at the FDA, just had his last day—forced to resign or be fired because he wouldn’t lie about vaccines.

He gives a chilling warning: the U.S. is unprepared for biowarfare—because the response team has been gutted.

With all due respect, Senator

Many of us at the grassroots level do NOT feel good about it

We feel betrayed-and we’re pissed

That’s why we’re asking you-for the good of the party

Now with pages in @cpsjournal.bsky.social: can citizens use simple visualizations to benchmark their government's performance during crises? Turns out, yes: visually showing the UK as one of the "worst of the bunch" for COVID-19 mortalities led to more negative evaluations. doi.org/10.1177/0010...

Don Jr. popped up in Serbia this week, part of the Trump/Kushner families' ongoing push to invest in the Balkans.

He also had a chat with Vucic — not about investments, but about the real pressing issues: imported color revolutions, USAID meddling and the horror of *checks notes* people protesting.

The problem Dems face is they have not visibly resisted as a group. So even (potentially) strategic decisions like this rile the base, which sees quiescence and an unwillingness to confront the nature of the threat.
The question of our moment is simple: How will we fight?

Millions of us are answering by taking to the streets, to the phones, to town halls.

Given a platform in the New York Times, you offer us no answer of your own.

Senator Schumer, the question of our moment is simple: HOW WILL YOU FIGHT?
Trump and Musk would love a shutdown.

We must not give them one.

As @jenjennings.bsky.social notes:

The MAGA playbook is to eliminate federal funding for low-income kids & give (some) of it to states as block grants instead. Red states will spend it on vouchers, which shift tax dollars from public schools to private/religious schools & benefit well-off parents.
