Finished my 1st campaign of Victoria 3 as United Netherlands née Belgium. I was fighting a war across the Dutch East Indies because I couldn't figure out where in the interface to grant their independence before war broke out. Which is probably an appropriate metaphor for colonial bureaucracy.

There has to be a reason why there is no standardization in hotel showers and the knobs make you solve a discarded Myst puzzle in order to get the water temperature you want.

This was a year filled with amazing games that left a huge impact on me. At the time? I probably would have said Fire Emblem Three Houses. Now? Slay the Spire has since consumed thousands of hours of my life, so picking anything other than that feels dishonest.

I've been playing an embarrassing amount of Nine Kings, and I finally beat King of Spells on King IX difficulty, which I've been bashing my head against for a few days. Felt way more reliant on luck than other kings, but it was satisfying to finally go off.
