Why is Kamen Rider whupping up on its sister series? The toys are cooler. The stories tend to flow better.
I like Super Sentai, but outside of like, Donbrothers, KR is dunking on it. So it makes sense that Toei is trying to bring it up to par.

Why is Kamen Rider whupping up on its sister series? The toys are cooler. The stories tend to flow better.

Nothing like finding out you've been recycling something you could've used later and not being able to find it now.
