Kicking off my 2026 finally wrapping up my month long Kara no Shoujo / The Shell marathon. Started reading Part I on December 1st & I've just seen the final True Ending of Part III after seeing everything else.
This was one of the most captivating stories I've ever read ever. They are masterpieces.

Finished my 1st playthrough of Kara no Shoujo Pt 3 to get its Normal Ending. Learned you need 3 full playthroughs to get true final ending & subsequent playthroughs extend story + add scenes re-contextualizing stuff.

Strong 1st cour finale for SI-VIS: The Sound of Heroes. At this point, I'd consider it very good. Though it's missing the mecha aspect, it's pretty much evolved into a Macross-esque show without forcing a love triangle & doesn't feel like side characters get shafted in service of the main couple.

Just wrapped up Kara no Shoujo / The Shell Part 2 - 100% all endings & CGs. Man, this was a pretty incredible follow-up to Part 1. A ton of new, interesting characters that were all fleshed out in intriguing ways; absolutely stellar sequel. True Ending really caught me off-guard.

I think I'm on track on finishing Kara no Shoujo / The Shell Part 2 this weekend. The dream of reading the entire Kara no Shoujo trilogy in a single month is still alive.
I haven't done a full visual novel-only month in a long time, so it's been pretty fun and refreshing to do it after so long.

Laughing at the random inclusion of Renne on Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter's key visual. My friends & I jokingly (kinda seriously) call her the real main character of Trails due to how many games she's in.
