I’m over 13 hours into Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road’s main story & just finished the 2nd Football Frontier match & not gonna lie,
Unmei (localized as Destin) is already one of my favorite main characters this year - easily top 5 at the moment. Top to bottom an incredible protagonist.

I’m over 13 hours into Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road’s main story & just finished the 2nd Football Frontier match & not gonna lie,
Unmei (localized as Destin) is already one of my favorite main characters this year - easily top 5 at the moment. Top to bottom an incredible protagonist.

Akiba Lost in Weekly Famitsu No. 1923. This was initially revealed back in September & is an adventure game using live-action shots like 428: Shibuya Scramble. Developed by IzanagiGames in cooperation with Nippon Television Network Corporation & Nippon Television AX-ON. Coming in 2026.

I'm roughly 6 hours into Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road's story mode and there's been barely any soccer gameplay, but it does such a good job slowly building up its core team members. A good chunk of it is because the main character himself is actually a really compelling figure. I... I kinda love it.

I wasn't convinced that Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road's character creator was godlike until it gave you the option to specifically choose if you wanted to pop off your collar.

Randomly reminding people that Level-5 randomly held an awkward in-person Megaton Musashi Wired PvP tournament before it released that featured different outlets from multiple countries to try and promote its viability as an esport.

Gonna commit to the Level-5 Expensive Early Access Gamble for the 2nd time this year with Inazuma Eleven. It worked out for Fantasy Life, so surely they wouldn't do me wrong now with Extensive Development Hell Children's Soccer Super Game.

It irks me when outlets blanket associate MONACA as "the studio behind Nier's music" because MONACA is comprised of many different & talented individuals that encompass lots diverse genres for different media. Putting the "Nier" label makes people think "so this thing has music like Nier then?"

Just a heads-up that my Twitter account got permanently suspended because I guess they did a massive wave of bans/suspensions to all the people still using old Tweetdeck that bypassed stuff. I didn't use it much anymore, but it was still useful to check on news & friends.

Seems like the debut project of Koei Tecmo's newly formed AAA Games Studio (yes that's what they named it) is a hit & James wrote up a fantastic review for it on RPG Site. I've also been seeing numerous other outlets praising it. 2025 keeps giving me some great high quality Musou games.

Pretty much spent weekend getting as far as I could in Duet Night Abyss & was able to complete all available story, almost fully built 3 characters optimally, unlocked all characters not timegated via weeklies, & close to finishing endgame mode to unlock the featured character - all under 40 hours.

After putting almost 30 hours into Duet Night Abyss, I now understand how people can put thousands of hours into Warframe. I wouldn't necessarily consider DNA a good game yet, but I think it has a lot of potential and I gotta admit the grind is fun. Nothing feels absurdly too long to earn/achieve.
