I do feel a bit for the people who paid for Virgin Punk screenings without knowing it's not a movie, and the messaging should definitely have been clearer, but cmon we need a bit of grift to fund Umetsu's team locking themselves in the basement for 23 years so that they can finish it

Stuff about Denmoku now that it's real & public: this is Not the project that was initially conceived, it has been rebooted. Some aspects make it quite obvious, like the fact that it's Minoru Ota's series direction debut, the shift in the setting, and the new subtitle. Fortunately, it looks great!

Finally caught some Fall anime premieres. Favorite so far is Yano-kun, which I was preemptively down on because it got tantalizingly close to a Yubisaki-like miracle adaptation yet ended up more down to earth. However: GREAT vibes and lowkey gorgeous color design by one of the best in the business
