I'm Jason Grinblat, co-creator of Caves of Qud (which is coming out in 3 WEEKS)

I'm a practitioner who likes theory, a poet who likes math, a designer of 100+ hr games who is uh deeply skeptical of videogames as a cultural project

But on the day back I'm always surprised at how low to the ground the Fit is. It's like driving a go kart with a bag of holding

Twice now I've rented a mini SUV on a family trip. Somehow they all have less cargo room than my Honda Fit.

That's all for me. So proud of this thing and the people who made it. 8 great years of my life. I got to design Ekko! And lead the champs team! Dreamy.

Devastating goodbyes all around. But I want this game to go hard for the FGC, and for those who remain. YOU CAN DO IT 2XKO.

it's genuinely stunning to me you'd keep a game in the hopper for a decade and then do huge layoffs after a single month. a month is nothing in live service terms. less than nothing.

My job? Oh, I receive class action settlement money from personal information data breaches, which I parlay into subscriptions for identity monitoring software, which converts into more breaches. I make $800,000 a year.

Luckily for me and my likeness, I cannot be de-aged. If you try to de-age me I just age forward. I also age forward if you age me normally. I have congenital achiral aging, and it is NOT covered by my insurance

this is a really good object lesson in why you should always question the conventional wisdom that the popular, least-frictive thing is best and going to be the best ad infinitum and is the only way forward

Just a nonsensical scene. it has no clue who or what it's even critiquing: overly rigid parliamentarian hobby leftist or idpol-brained millennial? Weird derailment where the film is otherwise absolutely cruising

Yeah this is where I'm at. The quote as stated is obtuse and artistically wormbrained but we don't need to remaster everything. You can play it. You can even mod it
