Wow.

A fired-up Mikie Sherrill just put on her federal prosecutor’s hat in an interview with #Maddow, laying out the damning case against Jack Ciattarelli and the Trump Administration for what was clearly a coordinated effort to illegally share her military records.

"We are asking the Department of War to deploy to our cities" should be a statement that ends any Governor's political career.
Louisiana Gov. Jeff Landry: "Tonight, we're sending the Department of War a request to send the National Guard, asking them to deploy the National Guard here in Louisiana into our cities like New Orleans and Baton Rogue and others."

Sen. Roger Marshall: "It seems very disingenuous for the Democrats to be blaming President Trump for these rural hospital struggles. The reason rural hospitals are struggling is because of the bad economy."

It is absolutely insane to me that we're having a debate over whether or not the rightwing deploys violent rhetoric within days of a Fox News personality calling for homeless people to be killed by lethal injection. There is no excuse for this obliviousness. It's unacceptable.

Last week, we found out Lisa Cook’s Atlanta mortgage docs correctly called her property a vacation home, not a primary residence. Now there’s evidence her MI home docs were also done correctly. & she won big in court today, too. This trump witch hunt is disgusting.

Exclusive: No evidence of primary residence violation by Fed Gov Lisa Cook, says Michigan official
The property tax authority in Ann Arbor, Michigan, said that Federal Reserve Governor Lisa Cook hasn’t broken rules for tax breaks on a home there that Cook declared her primary residence.

I honestly thought there was a chance that I'd fallen asleep and was dreaming the most absurd, childlike, ego-maniac lawsuit when I tried to read this Trump defamation complaint against the Times, Penguin Random House, and individual journalists.

Can we discuss for a moment what an incredible abuse of the office of President it is to sue any entity for defamation while one is in office?

An act of transparent extortion.

He must be removed from office.
He’s not even pretending to have an actual defamation claim. He’s just mad they didn’t endorse him, to the tune of $15 billion.

This is a stunningly pathological lawsuit even by Trumpian standards. It reads as if he was holding a gun to the head of the child of the lawyer drafting it.

It’s on all of us to stop the hate

Honor the memory of the 16th Street Baptist Church bombing, by demanding leaders dial back the toxic rhetoric before more lives are lost.

Be sure they know that Trump isn't just *cutting* cancer research, he's basically decimating it. It may put us back decades in the quest to find a cure. People need to know this.

It absolutely matters here that Pritzker was effective at sounding the alarm and plainly stating this would be unconstitutional in a profoundly radical and fundamental way, and showing he could rally practical popular opposition, which then gets spun as backing out over "legal headaches."

And now law enforcement is in the position of either following the evidence, even if it contradicts Trump’s “conclusions” and makes him mad, or validate his predetermined narrative no matter what
Trump lying in an Oval Office address that Charlie Kirk’s killing was caused by people comparing him and his organization to Nazis—lying because he has no idea, but declared it anyway—pairs interestingly with some prominent Trump fans saying they hope this can be their Reichstag Fire.

Here he stokes further political tension and violence. He's been waiting for an opportunity like this because he hates half the country he's supposed to lead.
