i can only speak anecdotally, but i don't know anyone who isn't kind of always exhausted or in some sort of malaise. like even if their personal lives are good, there's a lot of shit hanging in the background that will cause them to break a bit if it's brought up
I have witnessed a more or less universal degradation of my friends and associates ability to function and cope since the beginning of the genocide, yes.
We are all dealing with so many compounding traumatic events and situations, and the results have been exhausting and emotionally devastating.

I truly cannot agree with this strongly enough. I also think we underestimate the compounding traumatic effects of witnessing gen*cidal horrors while being gaslit about them. I don't think I can point to a single person in any demographic who is functioning well right now
