If what really works to reduce the murder rate,
That has been shown to work, in city after city,
And validated by decades of peer-reviewed research,
Is less expensive, less cruel, and less racist?

The problem with ICE is not that it's targeting people who aren't criminals. The problem with ICE is that it's an unaccountable secret deportation police. It cannot be reformed under a better president. It can be made less terrible, but the instrument of repression remains for the next tyrant.

In case any of my followers are unaware there is a lot of discussion about whether to use hyphenated or un-hyphenated; HOWEVER, in the context of Israel-Palestine, Left antisemites use hyphenated in order to deny their own antisemitism by co-opting the term to mean bigotry against “Semites”…

"Uses the spelling with the hyphen" is not necessarily a sign that the person is a nazi and shouldn't be treated as such, but my usual monitoring of the Worst Internet this last year has made it clear the Nazis are deliberately seeding "Semitic as a label for people and not just languages"

I can’t respect the political opinions of anyone who ever says TLJ should be higher on a ranking of SW films. And I don’t care how low it is. Visually beautiful and horrific film.
i would push rogue one down and bring solo and the last jedi up. i’d also place attack of the clones at the bottom.
haven’t seen ROS or Solo but this seems like a pretty ball-knowing list from Pritzker, particularly if he volunteered the name “Star Wars” rather than “A New Hope”
