I’m sorry but any Labour MP not publicly denouncing Shabana Mahmood‘s disgusting proposal to turn asylum seekers’ lives into a living hell is complicit.

Fascists claim that the overtone window is destroyed, that they won.

Labour MPs now get to decide whether that’s true or not.

This is on you.

It isn't new that ADF is active in the UK, it has been active here for years. It has been central to anti-trans court cases designed to attack Gillick, and embedded in the harassment of people accessing healthcare that may or may not involve reproductive healthcare.

So if Olivia is 32 now, broke up with Lizza last year, was together with him for a decade, and then was living with you for 4+ years before that, how old was she when you moved her out of her (presumably parents’) house in the suburbs to live with you?
Btw about this from Lizza's reply: Olivia and I lived together for 4+ years (4 b'days, 4 Xmases, 4 anniversaries). That's like $1250 of jewelry per celebration. And her apartment was a writing studio. And I made an f-ton then. What was I supposed to do? Get her a lot of Gift Certificates from Kmart?

The only way you could believe implementing cruel racist policies will "unite the country" is if a) you don't count non-white people as part of the country and b) you think every white person in the country is cruel and racist

Is that what counts as patriotism these days?

So apparently there’s going to be some American-style UN babysitting after all this suffering.
Wait… did we just become a U.S. state or what?! I mean, I’ve never seen a killer trash a place and then get the keys to run it like it’s theirs 😳.

I still think about that time I got a lecture from an AI slop person about how all art is commissioned, and it's not about the artist, it's about the client giving the vision to the person using the tools to meet the brief, which just sounded like slop to my ears.
This mural has gone up in Kingston, ostensibly for Christmas but AI has ensured it's actually to celebrate the return of our dark lord Cthulhu

This thread 💞
Anyway I just thought I’d share this thread to make autistic folks - who often find themselves unjustly misunderstood due to doing a bit and not telling anyone that’s what they’re doing and other people selfishly not reading their minds - feel less alone.

Twenty-two years ago today Section 28 was repealed.

But we're seeing history repeat itself as some in the media and in politics spread bigotry and misinformation about trans people.

Remarkable how resilient this line about "symbolic deliveries of food" has become vis a vis criticism of the Sumud Flotilla. The point of the Flotilla is to breach the blockade in the 1st place, to then enable the repetition of this breach, and to compel international pressure to render it obsolete.
Bret Stephens, making the case for the United States invading Venezuela: "Why hasn’t Greta Thunberg set sail to Caracas with symbolic deliveries of food?"

...No one has ever made Bret Stephens look worse than Bret Stephens. The competition is only ever for second place.
