#WarblerWednesday today, I say! Diving back into some older #birdbanding photos, I found this one of an immature male Audubon's Warbler I had photographed to document the little white fringes on his otherwise yellow throat (a clue to his age). His EYEBROWS though!! #birds #ornithology 🧪🌎👩‍🔬

Mama and her daughter came by a few times, hoping that I had put out some bananas. So greedy! The daughter is becoming more comfortable and was very close last night.

Spiders have evolved a variety of approaches to capture prey and tiny Triangle Weavers have a unique method. They make a triangle shaped web and pull one side of the web taut. When they sense prey they release the web, slingshotting forward to help ensnare prey. #Arachtober
