There is a LOT of filming going on and reporting out where feds and ICE are in DC. I know everyone means to be helpful when sharing that information, so I encourage everyone to get up to speed on the SALUTE method, which allows us to share info that is precise and doesn’t sow more fear.

As we reflect on the Supreme Court’s denial to hear Kim Davis’ challenge to Obergefell v Hodges, don’t forget that Davis must also pay $360,000 to the couple who’s marriage license she refused to grant. I hope they treat themselves to the best anniversary present that money can buy.

We are fighting you and asking you to fight with your colleagues because you aren’t addressing the real dangers! That’s what the fighting is about, specifically!
But there are real dangers out there that must be fought; and energy spent fighting each other is energy lost to that bigger fight.

Zionism and Judaism not being identical is not a get-out-of-jail-free card for when you are (wittingly or not) using Zionist as a bucket for your ideas about Jews as an outside, corrupting and unamerican force
Then we'll blame the zionists.
Zionism and Judaism are not one and the same.

Right, the answer isn't to abandon the party to these weasels.
The answer is to flood the party with people who will take it over and transform it.

Hey, a lot of people are talking about changing affiliation from Democratic to Independent.
Let me tell you why you shouldn’t do that in Colorado.
One of the main ways to get a primary challenge candidate on a ballot is to caucus for your party. You need to be registered as a Dem to caucus.

Go volunteer for a progressive launching a “hopeless” campaign against an extremely entrenched incumbent currently squatting in a safe Blue seat. The worst thing that happens, is that you drag the incumbent to the Left. Best case? Zohran Mamdani, who was polling at 6% in January.

Ok so now I have a question about my insurance:
It’s currently open enrollment. CareFirst/DC Health Link say my premium is going up $100 for the same plan next year. If subsidies aren’t extended is there an immediate impact on costs I already agreed to somehow, or wouldn’t hit me until next renewal?
