It is time for state and local governments to arrest masked officers who won’t produce warrants and who have no proof someone is undocumented.
Kidnappers should be arrested and indicted and tried for kidnapping and serve the many years such sentences carry.

It freaking rocks that an incoming council member is cheering on @wilsonforseattle.bsky.social. It'd have been easy for @linforseattle.bsky.social to focus only on his own race in the hopes of avoiding Harrell's ire in case he won.
So many orgs/electeds took this path, it says a lot that he didn't!

There is a curious pattern here.
Bruce Harrell rarely goes above 9 press statements a month. Only 4x before this year has 13. And then in the 2 months before the primary he does 13, and then 20 in each of Sept & Oct. Coincidence or subtle misusing of public office?

Katie Wilson saw in the strong victory for Prop 1A (social housing) a rejection of Bruce Harrell, who featured prominently in the ads for the competing measure, Prop 1B. When other big names refused to run, assuming wrongly that Harrell was a shoo-in, Wilson saw an opportunity and took it.

One of my favorite things about @wilsonforseattle.bsky.social is that she’s not afraid of a difficult fight.
It’s one of the things that has the potential to make her an incredible, transformational mayor.

Eight months ago, Katie Wilson declared her intention to run and all the conventional powers-that-be said she didn't stand a chance of winning.
Remember that we don't always know what is possible.

Wilson now leads in the Seattle mayoral race by 91 votes. Prior to today, Harrell had been leading by 4,300 votes, but this latest vote batch netted Wilson 4,391 votes.

If Wilson is within 5 points of 50 tonight it's over. She could even build on her primary lead. I think ppl are sick of Bruce's shit: "Now is not the time for hope" smdh. Oh and I saw a green haired person walking away from the ballot drop today so that's good luck

Extremely, extremely likely Katie wins now. Keep the foot on the gas with ballot curing, and here we go!
Monday drop.
WILSON LEADS FOR THE FIRST TIME ALL ELECTION!
It's neck and neck heading into the final count! She leads by 91 votes!
Only about 10,000 ballots remain, per reporting from @kromandavid.bsky.social. Cured ballots from the weekend will be counted tomorrow.

Seattle mayor Bruce Harrell was putting out at least a press release daily celebrating all the amazing things the mayor's office was doing right up until, let's see, November 3.
Nothing since then, though. Weird!

Classy, on top of being very, very good at her job. Looking forward to seeing this pair (and Mosqueda and Baron) lead the county into the future!

RESIGN, Schumer.
If the Dems blink after all of this, for a deal that all but ensures no ACA subsidies in 2026 anyway, then what was the purpose of letting the shutdown go for 40 days in the first place?

i think this is key. taking the deal would amount to taking the blame. it would turn a clear political victory into an unambiguous defeat.

We can’t let them get away with this. Miller and the other architects of this sadism need to go to prison.
