Even a simple factoid like this gets overlooked, but it was not long ago that *everyone* directly knew multiple examples of people taken away by this at something preposterous like age 22

Donald Trump has pardoned former Army Ranger Cameron Poe, convicted in 1989 of a federal manslaughter charge in Mobile, Alabama. Poe served 8 years in federal prison and was paroled in 1997. Today’s pardon restores his military rank, giving him access to his Army pension and a military burial.

Great news out of the US as it’s clear America has turned against Trump en masse, even in Republican strongholds.

FT has it top story, nails angle.

BBC has it 2nd to story about immigrants working illegally 🙄, makes it only about New York, doesn’t mention turn against Trump, says problems ahead 🙄

I am hearing that on his deathbed Dick Cheney received the light of Islam and unhesitatingly recited the Shahada. Even now he looks down on the Ummah from the gardens of Jannah, with his hunter's bow in his hand, chasing gazelle. Truly there is no god but Allah, and Mohammad is his prophet!

Real Ones know the single best Smashing Pumpkins song, the purest distillation of everything Billy Corgan was trying to express about himself, is "Muzzle."
The Smashing Pumpkins’ ‘Mellon Collie And The Infinite Sadness’ hit US record stores 30 years ago today. 💿💿

In 2004, Parisian police were conducting a training exercise in the french catacombs and found, after moving past a desk and a tape playing audio of snarling dogs, a fully functional movie theater and bar. When they returned 3 days later, the equipment was gone, with a note: “Do not try to find us.”
