Had to share this cause it annoys me. DS9 faced tons of hate, including racism. Watch the What We Left Behind doc for proof. Avery Brooks fought racism behind the scenes & even had to defend Cirroc Lofton after a security guard harassed him near set. Don’t rewrite history. Only Sisko can do that.

No-fault divorce saves lives.
I believe that eliminating the legal institution of marriage entirely, and making sure everyone has financial stability, housing, and childcare regardless of relationship status, would save even more lives... but no-fault divorce is a critical stopgap.

So a long long time, when I was very young, I got married to a guy after the second time I failed out of college, and we got along fine and didn’t have too many problems when he saw me as a dropout who was supporting him by working full time while he finished a college degree.
One of the things that was common listening to (almost entirely women) give acceptance speeches for winning awards for writing romance novels was how many of them praised their husbands for doing basic household chores.
