Our #BoardGame weekend keeps rolling along. We're all set up for Twilight Imperium 4ed (w/ PoK & TE expansions).

Damn. Yeah, this is 100% accurate. I've got 3/5 of these, but it's 5/5 for my wife (she'd say 7/5 because there were multiple repeats).

Tried a new one tonight, John Company. It's really different for a competitive game in that everyone is trying to support the East India Trading Company, but in their own unique ways that are most profitable to them.

I watched some of that Piers Morgan debate over the weekend and was amazed at his ignorance. First of all, he rejects the notion that masculinity & femininity vary depending on historical time and culture. Secondly, saying toxic masculinity is just misogyny shows a lack of comprehension of language.

The thing I liked about Predator Badlands is that it pays homage to ideas from the earlier movies while also doing something entirely different with them, whereas recently you have Alien Romulus where a character inexplicably says “get away from her you bitch.”
