Ivan Demidov to Lane Hutson back to Ivan Demidov and he scores from the slot, tie game, 3-3. That was one hell of a shift from Demidov.

Why a Reagan Ad Provoked Trump
Canada’s anti-tariff ad was an incursion in the trade war, but there’s another reason it may have bothered Trump.

Goodness, the desire for the refs in this league to manage the game late is so annoying.

Anderson got a penalty after the 5-4 goal for I don't even know what... I really don't know.

I guess it is for shooting the puck down the ice after the goal.

It's laughable.

What in the When It Suits Us kind of Trumpian thought pretzel is this now?

As a four-decade veteran of the daily journalism business, let me tell you: Every competent political reporter in this country knows that Trump is trying to establish a dictatorship. The industry's shame is that so few journalists will say so, and the ones who do lose their jobs.

How's that "Latinos for Trump" thing working out for you?

Well, damn.
The oppression of the entire Latino community of Los Angeles right now is difficult to convey.

Normally vibrant local retail areas of East LA and SELA look like ghost towns this week. People are afraid to leave their homes. Parents afraid to go to work.

It's US citizens too. Anyone with brown skin

When a cabinet member announces "We are using the military to liberate an American city from its elected leaders," where do you go from there. What is left to say. The idea of that being anything short of a near-universal "Wait, what the fuck is going on" moment proves how far we've backslid.

In Donald Trump's America, if you say "I am Senator Alex Padilla, I have questions for the Secretary," you get thrown to the floor and handcuffed.

Padilla was thrown down and handcuffed. A senator in his own state! (He has since been released.)

I don't think we appreciate the bullet Canada dodged by electing PM Mark Carney instead of Pierre Poilievre, based on the disaster that press conference would have been if it had involved Donald Trump and petulant assclown Skippy McSlogan. So let's think about how awful that would have been.

Succinctly stated.
100 billionaire families spent $2.6 billion in the 2024 election.

70% of these donations went to Republicans.

Now, Republicans in Congress are gearing up to slash essential programs to pay for another round of tax cuts for the rich.

This is what oligarchy looks like.
