Primarily post about hockey. Ardent Habs fan. Dismayed about the state of democracy. Looking forward to a victory for Ukraine over Russia.
Acquiring talent is one thing; creating an environment where it can thrive is another. Kudos to #Habs ownership, management and coaching staff for succeeding on both fronts. They have made Montreal a preferred destination.

Matheson, Guhle, Dach, Newhook, Evans and Laine were all out of the lineup last night, so th squad dug deep and beat one of the top teams in the league. The #Habs have a resilience not often found in young teams. It bodes well.

The way Xhekaj has played of late is going to force the organisation to make some tough decision on their D core for the coming years. No other D brings that so important part of his game.As he gets more ice time and keeps improving the way he has,he will become an indispensable player for the #Habs

The crap take of the day!
So 0 Quebecers in this Team Hortons bs. No Matheson, no Letang, no Danault, no Huberdeau, no Couturier, no Drouin, no Marchessault, no Lafrenière... When is it time for Hockey Québec to finally try and launch their own NT? #habs #quebec

Letting Trump and every co-conspirator off the hook for J6 was one of the top two most consequential moments of our current political situation.

The other was allowing Elon to overtake Twitter.

Happy #Habs game day my Bluesky friends. The #Habs are 0-5 in their last 5 games played in Raleigh and have been outscored 27-7 in those games. Tonight’s game is no walk in the park. The #Habs will need a full effort from everyone to win this one. #GoHabsGo!

Many #MAGA voted for #Trump because they thought he was a smart businessman and he would help them succeed like he did ... without realizing any success he had was from fleecing people exactly like them. He's still doing it and they still can't see it. 😵‍💫

When you see Trump's volatile, knee jerk reactions to the approach other countries have taken we should appreciate Carney's approach to soothe #Trump in the short term while methodically building alternatives for the long term.
I'll take the banker over the wanker any day! Pierre would have us as the 51st state in a heartbeat, blaming the Liberals for every move he makes.
