This is a statement I received from a Epstein survivor who is a Jane Doe.

Losing Newhook long term will be a blow to this team, considering how well he was doing. It also removes a lot of speed from this team.

And then we’re without Guhle, who is apparently made of the thinnest glass, for longer.

Been a very bad week for this team.

Trump is deflecting.

I don’t know how many times this needs to be said, but if Democrats are involved in the Epstein files, take them down too.

So that was the largest shutout loss at the Bell Centre since the Habs moved there in 1996.

Well ain’t that the cherry on top.

Am I ever glad that I had prior commitments and didn't have to sit through that shit show. 2 stinkers in a row at home by the Habs. Yikes. Was it really as bad as the score indicated?

This is a fucking shame. Newhook was developing an identity and securing a spot on this team. Hopefully it's a speedy recovery. #GoHabsGo

Well, this is where those series of wins early in the season is keeping the #Habs still at the top.
But the cushion is paper thin now.
We all knew they would have some downs.
The idea this year is to make them shorter than early last year.

Your daily reminder that the particular piece of shit in question was Donald Trump's *first* choice for Attorney General.

Yea, it's fucking rank.

As luck would have it, I had commitments that didn't allow me to watch the 2nd and 3rd periods. My condolences to those who did. #Habs

From a strictly statistical point of view, Sam Montembeault has been a sub .900 SV% goaltender in the NHL. Throughout his pro and amateur career he has had seven sub .900 SV% seasons. Those are not the numbers of a starting goaltender. #Habs

Exactly. As I've argued, polling that asks, "should illegal immigrants be deported, yes or no," tends to get a "yes" answer because it codes as "should the law be enforced, yes or no." (NYT does this and it's absurd). Once pollsters ask *who* should get deported, Trump's agenda is roundly rejected.
Also most voters have just never thought remotely seriously about policy. “Should we get rid of illegal immigrants? Well, of course; they’re illegal!” There’s nothing deeper than that going on until they start seeing what that actually entails.
Some Dems and pundits overread the significance of Trump's win. They looked at dissatisfaction with the border and discerned a seismic cultural reaction to immigration levels inside the country. The former was real. The latter is a mirage.

Jimmy #Kimmel and his wife are national treasures.
She absolutely nailed it! 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻

Some of my family members voted for that man (knowing full well what was going to happen) and it has created a divide that will never be mended.

I can’t eat a meal across from a man who voted for this.

It’s not about politics. It’s about morals and basic decency .

Trump bragged about grappling women by the pu**y & barging into rooms of partially dressed, young pageant contestants. A jury concluded he assaulted E. Jean Carroll in a dressing room. So nothing that’s in the Epstein emails is a surprise. It’s just confirmation.

I was thinking that night how we'd be stoked if Armia did that in a Habs uniform, so good for him and good for Kings' fans. He has a few skills like that which will keep him in the NHL. But he seems to have so much more potential all the time. Oh well. This version isn't bad.

Is it just me, or do the #Habs seem to play with less confidence when Montembeault is in goal?
November 12, 2025 at 6:23 PM
The #Habs have only outshot their opponents once in the past 10 games. That needs to change if they expect to succeed in the long run.
