Call of the Wilde: Montréal Canadiens fall to the Boston Bruins - Montreal | Globalnews.ca
The Montreal Canadiens fell to the Boston Bruins 3-2 on Saturday night. It was a competitive game but the Habs couldn't shake the issues that have dogged them all week.

The Als could have won that actually.

The pass interference overturn was a tragic CFL joke only found in the CFL.

And a fumble on the one when you’re gonna tie the game late.

That’s a 14 point swing.

They lost by 8.

This is sports.

That QB is a gamer, Man. That dudes a champion.

Wow. Well, big games always seem to turn on moments that just shouldn’t happen in big games.

That’s the backbreaker

In the spirit of fairness, how is that roughing the passer. Should he try to not tackle him.

Just challenge it like the first time. Get as many opinions as you can until you like one.

You have to be kidding me. Lol. Haha that’s a terrible joke of a moment in the CFL
Fantastic goal line stand. Big moments going Als way so far.

I just visited Habs Twitter. Just to see what’s being said.

Well, this is one of those days that reveal your personality.

They’re ready to hang Kent Hughes over there. So ridiculous. You thought you were gonna vie for the cup in year 4 of a rebuild?

Second fastest rebuild ever. People are silly.

It’s an absolute stunner for Ireland in World Cup qualifying.

The Irish move on. Hungary are done on a 95th minute thriller.

Worth a listen.

Good heavens. What kind of coach under two minutes doesn't take the field goal and then let the other team fight the clock and field position and no time outs...

I can't. There's some insane football coaching.

Try to avoid the negativity. January marks month 48 of the rebuild. It's the second fastest rebuild in NHL history.

Yeah, when the rebuild is in its nascent stage at year 4, the roster will be thin still. Of course, it will.

Two months of strife doesn't change the power of this rebuild.

What did Kirby Dach do to the hockey gods? Every time he looks like he is about to fulfill on his promise, the hockey gods tell him no.

What a week, Habs fans. They went from first place to gee hope they can make the playoffs.

Newhook, Guhle, Dach all gone long term.

Joshua Roy gets the call up. He's headed to Ohio.
Oh FFS, Kirby Dach fractured his foot last night. He's out 4 to 6 weeks say the Canadiens.

Tell ya one thing... they're working their asses off. The spirit was very much willing tonight. Doesn't mean they get a result, but if work is success, they should find some.
November 16, 2025 at 2:39 AM
That shot by Slafkovsky just gives possession away. Might as well just pass it to the goalie.
November 16, 2025 at 2:37 AM
Hage held off the scoresheet tonight. 4-2 loss for Michigan vs Penn State.

Hage a plus one though playing centre, so that's good.

Dobson on the first unit isn't it. And it sure isn't it up 5-on-3. You don't need two D up two guys.

And I don't think he has the profile at all to help the cause.

However, you got Suzuki, Demidov, Caufield... all great shooters... grand total of zero shots.
