I need everyone who uses AI to generate art & text to notice what Vince Gilligan says here. You're surrendering your brain, your creativity, the divine spark within you to a machine. Someday you'll wake up and find you're no longer capable of writing or thinking. And for what?

A spoon of electricity –
that’s what I can say about today in Kyiv.

Power outages are long.
But, as I once said, I try to do regular things during them
(well, the ones I can).

Life goes on,
just often in darkness.

The NFL will own 10% of ESPN, which licenses its name to a sportsbook.

The NFL will directly profit from sports gambling.

Goodell said in 2017, “We still strongly oppose legalized sports gambling. The integrity of our game is No. 1. We will not compromise on that.”
NFL will own 10 percent of ESPN. Factor that into any and all reporting ESPN does on league matters.

Without wanting to stick my oar in too far:

It's possible to recognise that we have a higher standard of living now than in the past and *also* to believe that inequitable distribution is wrong and that widespread precarity for everyone but the very rich should be fought tooth and nail.

#FunFact: with his goal tonight, #Habs captain Nick Suzuki reached the 20-point mark in 15 GP requiring the fewest games by a #GoHabsGo player to do so since Saku Koivu got to 20 points in 14 GP in 1996-97!

Meanwhile the Nordiques looking pretty good too...
I’ll take this and a bad PP over the reverse. Incredible stats for the Avs. Via @dimfilipovic.bsky.social

#Habs Current Situation:
🏒 #GoHabsGo are tops in their division
🏒 Cole Caufield leads the #NHL in goals
🏒 Ivan Demidov & Oliver Kapanen are the top rookies in the League
As Caufield just said to the Bell Centre crowd: "it's good to be a Montreal Canadien right now!"

Ahem
Goal differential is a favourite stat of mine to measure how good a line is.

With the two tonight, Suzuki lines goal differential is now plus-8.

Only one line is higher in the league than that - the Strome line in Washington who are plus 9

Suzuki's line was best in the league last season.

TSN's weird crush on Luke Willson is doing to CFL broadcasts what Garry Galley did to the Habs on Sportsnet:

Driving me to the French broadcast on RDS, which is superior to anyway.

Why is TSN trying to make a star of Mr. Mullett? Hoping it will make Glen Suitor look like a genius?
