Thinking about my birthday (end of November) and wondering whether any friends might fancy a bit of a road trip to Kernow and SW Englandshire. I've found plausible (i.e. very basic but affordable) accommodation in Tewynblustri/Newquay but I'd be happy to upgrade within reason. Happy to visit also

[9] Some people can be born with the genitalia of both ‘sexes’. Are they male or female? Some can be genetically tested &, despite having given birth to children, be found to be male. Others identify as the opposite sex. As you can see, talking of ‘sex’ with 19th C definitions can be challenging.

Both young and old approach tech the same way. They interact with it like a white goods product. Neither group understands how it really works. It's only GenX/Y (the ones who used to program the family VCR) who's tech education evolved at the same pace as the technology itself who seem to get it.

So, Ash (the hubs) called out my local pride for having the Labour MP open it (mass outrage in comments) and they just messaged him saying if she was Hitler they'd still invite them as to open conversations. I am stunned. I don't even know what to say to that.

Today is Romani Resistance Day, which commemorates the day in 1944 when 6,000 Romani prisoners in the Zigeunerlager at Auschwitz-Birkenau learned that they were all to be gassed, and rose up to fight back with “stones, iron pipes, wood panels, barbed wire [and] smuggled pikes.”
