If a local police department assists ICE in kidnapping people, are they eventually going to be held criminally liable too? Accountability must happen. We can't bend the knee to fascism and police who assist are as culpable a anyone else.

OMG, that would be a dream.
I'm SO in!
1. Ellison runs Paramount into the ground
2. Paramount files for bankruptcy
3. We all pool our money to buy Star Trek
4. Run it as a co-op
5. I finally get to live the dream and make Star Trek: Deep Space Nine 2

By capturing how taxable property wealth is shielded from redistributive taxation by local boundaries, we also identify specific jurisdictions—what we term “municipal tax havens” & “fiscal deserts”—where per capita property wealth is many times greater or less than their respective metro averages.

The energy transition happens often in unlikely places at unprecedented rates.

Take Nepal: Over the past year, electric vehicles accounted for 76 percent of all passenger vehicles and half of the light commercial vehicles sold in Nepal.

Five years ago, that number was essentially zero.

ICE deported a woman who owned a home in the US for 30 years. A judge banned ICE from deporting her to Sierra Leone where she had been tortured, so it deported her to Ghana, which kidnapped her and sent her back Sierra Leone anyway. ICE is part of this illegal conspiracy.

They should be charged with a crime, and made to pay restitution for legal fees.
What Pam Bondi and Lindsey Halligan did was not incompetence. It was intentional misconduct. They both must be disbarred.

Consolidation and monopolization are destroying everything.
Annals of media consolidation: A publicist at a longtime nonprofit publishing house sent me a book galley and noted she's among employees losing jobs 12/31 when it's eaten by a bigger fish. The horrible kicker: I noticed she had to write the press release for the acquisition news. #publishing

This will 100% turn out to be a lie. These gestapo chuds were chasing & arresting brown kids and oops! another one turned out to be a citizen so now they’re lying about the victim, just like they did in Chicago & LA.
We need to burn DHS, ICE & CPB to the goddamn ground (legally & legislatively ofc.)

* Make your own ice tea from some really great blends from Smith Tea.

* Shrubs! Preserved fruit drinks with sugar and vinegar served with sparkling water—fizzy taste bud party in a cup. (Cranberry season is great b/c makes gorgeous and delish shrub.)

* unusual teas, like Fir Needle tea.
I do not drink because I have almost no tolerance for it anymore (one margarita is too much).

If you are hosting a party, I recommend also stocking:
-fancy ginger beer
-coconut water
-premium juices like lychee and guava
-apple cider with cinnamon
-Italian sodas
-sparkling water

Lots of options!

I 100% endorse any challenger to Jeffries, who is a mouthpiece for the status quo and NY billionaires. Unfortunately, my endorsement means nothing. 🤣 But I will small donate to all challengers of Dem leaders.

Sad #Mamdani seems all “I got mine…” He could have just not endorsed, or waited.
First thing Mamdani did with his newly gained power and influence was to sabotage Osse and endorse Hakeem Jeffries as Speaker. You know, in addition to retaining Tisch and being chummy with Trump.

How many times do we have to go through this before people stop falling for this shit?

It's not just "consumer smart" it reduces environmental waste, key materials are often mined in slave conditions. The whole tenor of the article is wrong - why is the economy so dependent on us engaging in mass waste?
