We need to address the fact that the LAPD - which is not ICE and at least nominally under the control of a liberal Democrat -- is violent and out of control and violating human rights just like the feds are

You really have to hand it to the people who came up with the concept of “cancel culture” — it’s a tremendously flexible tool usable by everybody. Why, here it is being used to explain why an organization nominally about values can’t reject overt antisemites.

ICE conducted raids in Manhattan's Chinatown this afternoon and returned to the federal building during rush hour. Residents gathered nearby to voice disapproval.
NYPD says it wasn't involved in the raids but now is running counterprotest operations.
