its funny to see "heritage Americans" posting about how their great great great grandpa was in the continental army or whatever after reading page after page of Washington quotes where he's like "My soldiers Stink Most Pissibly; verily They are Drunken Roaches, Whom I Despise"

It’s the “season of love and giving”…but this year, doesn’t it seem more like a “season of fear and taking”? Like many of you, I’ve been saddened by the human impact of draconian government budget cuts and how angry many housed Americans are at unhoused Americans.

When these people refer to “the Constitution” or “the Bible”, they are making reference to another text than the Constitution or Bible that actually exist, rather to some other image of a sheaf of rustling brown paper with vague black squiggles on it that exists only in their minds
Birthright citizenship is embedded directly in the Constitution, written so plainly that even children understand it. The only real confusion here is coming from the person making the claim below.

WELL NOW, would you look at that? A massive, 24-YEAR-LONG study of MORE THAN 1.2 MILLION people in Denmark found NO LINK between aluminum in childhood vaccines and autism, asthma, OR chronic disorders.

Aluminum is an ADJUVANT.

It ENHANCES your immune response to a vaccine.

That’s it.

When did the dangerous nature of the great lakes in November become forgotten knowledge? Someone should write a popular song about it to cement it in our popular culture.

It’s wrong to lump all top Trump people in one category. There are differences among them. But they do seem to fall into three (sometimes overlapping) categories:

• Ordinary criminals (grift and corruption).

• Sex criminals.

• War criminals.

There is a direct correlation between how fake your job is and how much value you see in AI
A study by Dayforce shows 87% of executives use AI for work, compared to 57% of managers and just 27% of employees.

I think this explains the massive disconnect we see in how CEOs talk about AI versus everyone else. It also raises the question of how useful it truly is for frontline work?
Execs are embracing AI more than their employees are, new research suggests
Research from HR software company Dayforce suggests that executives are leaning into AI far more than their employees.

Not super relevant, but a funny lesson from Ukraine is that in a peer/near-peer conflict special operations becomes dramatically less useful compared to what the US GWOT consider an optimal military make up. You need standard units, and you need them in bulk, to wage a full scale modern war.

It's genuinely funny that the McDonald's one is the real photo.
Personally, I think it's a bad thing when people in the government post AI images without disclosing that they're AI.

Image on the left is something RFK Jr. posted today. Image on the right is a photo from 2024.
