Literally nothing is 'carbon neutral'. It is a physical impossibility. If someone's telling you their product has zero climate impact, they're actively deciding to lie to you.

Sarah Kendzior has been suspended by Bluesky. What is it about people starting out with free speech ideals who then turn into small-minded dictators?

Real question bc there’s clearly a media culture thing here that I am not getting: Why are we not seeing citations to Sarah Kendzior, who has been on this exact beat for years? What is it about her and/or her work that has made it acceptable to ignore her?

I've noticed the opposing team's fans only cheer when the opponents score on us. To win those fans over, I recommend we score on ourselves repeatedly; that will surely make them so happy they'll start supporting us. And I'm sure all our fans will keep cheering for us—who else is there to cheer for?

The new Republican plan same as the old Republican plan: Fucking die already.
Rick Scott told me his plan would be to take all of the remaining ACA subsidies and redistribute them to HSA accounts and people can then buy whatever insurance a state certifies. Basically a repeal/replace.
He denied when I asked wouldn’t that create two-tiered system where sick pay much more…

The media might not give it the BOVINO-celeb coverage, but it’s not lessening anywhere. Always worse when attention is gone from a place 👀👁️👀

of course they’re making it look like a departure - there’s a judge visiting broadview on thursday. and even if bovino & border patrol are permanently transferred, ICE will still be here & broadview will still be open. i also want this all to end but i’m not hopeful that this will bring full relief.

I'm going to actively say at this point that I don't think people should donate to any Dem-run PACs. What guarantee do we have that they won't give the money to cowards to stave off primary challengers?
I mean, it rather feels like the reverse will happen.

A thing that fucks people up is the refusal to take babysteps in doing something they suck at.
Instead of starting where they can, and gradually improving, they just get frustrated that they're not already good at it and never even start.

It’s wild to suggest this is a circular firing squad or something when it’s millions of citizen Democrats who hate it versus 47 elected Democrats who conspired to surrender for nothing.
We’re not fighting “each other,” we’re fighting you. There’s only a few dozen of you, but you hold all the power.

But there are real dangers out there that must be fought; and energy spent fighting each other is energy lost to that bigger fight.
