Rep. Adelita Grijalva was pepper-sprayed by ICE agents during a raid last week.

Remember: ICE is getting $170B in new funding from Trump's Big Ugly Bill and lowering its hiring standards.

If Trump's thugs can do this to a member of Congress, they can do it to you.

1. Some good news at last. This week’s column is about the amazing thing a couple of us stumbled into three years ago, which we’ve now developed into a global research programme. It doesn’t change everything, of course, but it could help change quite a lot. + 🧵 www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...

Meanwhile, data centers are sucking up communities’ water and electricity.

AI is making the rich even richer while everyone else pays the price.

Appreciate this coverage but it is hard to explain to people not in the Chicago area that THESE ARE NOT PROTESTS.

This is people coming out of their homes, doing anything in their power to try to stop their neighbors from being kidnapped.

It is coming for your city next, please be prepared.

To all who are attending a No Kings rally tomorrow,

Trump and figures in his administration are attempting to smear the rallies as hateful and violent. We know that’s not true, so don’t take the bait. Keep it calm. Keep it safe. Keep it joyful.

See you out there!

Mayor Suarez & Joe Carollo get to stick around an extra year.
