<div class="field field-field-text"><p data-end="583" data-start="357">Gaza’s Government Media Office says only 14 percent of essential food and aid has entered the territory in the past month, as Israel’s siege chokes supplies and drives a deepening starvation crisis.</p>
<p data-end="746" data-start="585">“The Israeli occupation authorities continue to commit a systematic starvation crime against the population of the Gaza Strip,” the office said in a statement.</p>
<p data-end="923" data-start="748">It reported that hunger and malnutrition have killed 313 people so far, including 119 children, warning the situation is most dire for “children, the sick, and the elderly.”</p>
<p data-end="1120" data-start="925">Officials said Israeli forces have closed all border crossings and banned the entry of 430 critical food items, leaving an “86 percent shortfall in aid."</p>

The summary is that they are trying to criminalize every aspect of homelessness so they can arrest & forcibly commit unhoused people. Currently(/before), there are not enough mental health & substance use treatment beds/facilities, and this does not add anything, which only leaves imprisoning people
