I could watch Zack Polanski utterly wreck Zia Yusuf ALL DAY LONG.

Disney is no longer associated with magic and innocence in the minds of millions now.

There are mistakes - and there is catastrophic cowardice that changes your brand identity.

Boycott Disney.

"How Boris Johnson is the only one standing in Nigel Farage's way" is an indefensibly ridiculous headline for The Times to put as clickbait on a story with poll evidence showing the opposite!
- Farage less popular than Starmer + Boris less popular than Starmer! (But *others* more popular)

Great work by @monkemma.bsky.social but it simply shouldn’t be necessary. Our journalistic standards should prohibit the article seeing the light of day
Right, so I was asked to take a look at this headline and as you can imagine, there is a lot wrong with it! 🙄

This was initially published in
@thetimes
and then picked up by the usual GB News, DM, Telegraph etc

Let’s take a look….👀

So let me get this straight…

Under Hegseth’s leadership, the Army is rolling out a policy that could kick out Black men for razor bumps—a medical condition that disproportionately affects us.

Meanwhile, troops who refused the COVID vaccine? They got waivers. Sympathy. Career protection.

It's worth remembering that the majority of 'English' people also arrived in small boats.
It's the old "foreign-born" shtick again, and equating people who've lived here for decades with people who've just arrived on a small boat.

Being a woman in comedy is weird coz amongst all the trolls who follow you round the internet going "not funny and also v ugly" are the creepy fans. They are far more unsettling and have plausible deniability because they act the bashful supporter and outsiders think they're cute. They are not cute.

Abuser transphobes being driven off Bluesky is a good thing actually.
Most definitely BlueSky excludes a crapload of normie libs.
-For example, Depp supporters from the Depp v Heard case are frowned on.
-And liberal gender criticals are harassed off the platform with hate, insults and often death threats. Even the most tepid GC views get dogpiled.

Happy birthday to Baron Hieronymus Karl Friedrich von Münchhausen, born on 11 May 1720 in Bodenwerder, Hanover, who went on to be the greatest adventurer, wit and raconteur the world has ever known... according to himself, anyway.

I published a game about him. jameswallis.itch.io/munchausen

Does this mean hormone beef? Does it mean the UK is changing its chemicals regulations? What is contained in 'more'? And what if anything does our most important trade partner, the EU, who are far more reliable, think about the UK doing this?

I really don’t get this crisis of masculinity. I just don’t.
You can join the Army or become a paramedic or live in the woods. You can wear camo. You can go hunting or fishing. You can be a little rowdy. I’ve done all these things.

Just don’t be a dick.

So, just to get it straight: it is antisemitic to wish that Israel would quit genociding Palestinians. It is *not* antisemitic to pine for an apocalyptic clash between God & Satan, set in Israel, that would result in all Jews dying & going to hell.
SCOOP: The Antisemitism Awareness Act — up for vote in Senate committee tomorrow — now has a religious liberty clause to protect ‘Jews killed Jesus’ statements by Christian conservatives.

New added language in the bill clarifies First Amendment protections.

Why the Antisemitism Awareness Act now has a religious liberty clause to protect ‘Jews killed Jesus’ statements
The Antisemitism Awareness Act's added language says it would not infringe on religious liberty to protect the claim that Jews killed Jesus.

Note the use of 'effectively', a modifier that when used by politicians and their flunkeys can without exception be replaced by 'not'.
The way Trump officials are lying about Kilmar Abrego Garcia should give everyone pause about any "evidence" they see coming from the government at this point.

This is the Assistant Secretary for the Dept. of Homeland Security and everything she writes here is a lie.
