Wonder what Andrea Jenkyns will do to save Lincolnshires coastal communities? 🙃

There are plenty of images of bad wild camping practice around. This picture shows what a wild camp site should look like when you leave. Boring! No litter, no burnt ground, no dumped gear, nothing. Just flattened ground. @tgomagazine #wildcamping

do you ever stare at the ceiling and think about how the worldwide scientific establishment did the impossible and created a COVID vaccine in under a year and the response of the general public has been to go on an unstoppable rampage to destroy science and scientists

I've encountered many neurodivergent people who struggle with the sensations of tight clothes and fabrics.

Every last one of them has understood social norms well enough to not get their genitals out in public.

It's as if autism and being a sleazebag are entirely mutually exclusive. Who knew?

I tell you what, one thing we should be advocating for is a legal maximum workplace temperature (probably with provision for emergency/essential services). We've got a best practice minimum; the climate crisis means a maximum needs to be added.

My disgust at seeing increasing instances of casual AI slop-art is actually making me use the internet less and less. I'm surprisingly okay with this. If the future of the net is just idiots playing with their shitty little theft machines, I'm good with a book and a cup of tea.

is it time to bust out my "bigfoot is bears" photo collection again? if your mental image of a bear is a thick-furred, fat glossy male bear in autumn, you're probably not prepared for how weird their proportions can look in spring, or when walking upright, like they frequently do.

Spent the weekend doing the Lincs Wold Way, a 78 mile loop in my local county. Added a 5 mile walk to the start point! Day 1 I covered 31.18 miles in 11 hours 31 mins, with 773 metres of ascent. Not bad for a flat county!
