seriously, you can probably pick up a kitchenaid with a burnt motor for free somewhere, and these babies predate technology. A guy can just .....make it work.
keep your eyes peeled on local estate sales/ facebook marketplace/ etc... you just need a granny with a kitchenaid to die, it happens every day. even if it doesn't work, they're totally fixable.
