classic UC Gundam is really funny politically because on the one hand it espouse progressive ideals such as anti war, anti imperialism and anti racism (albeit using newtypes as an allegory)... but on the other hand, many subplots are also inherently sexist or espouse biological essentialism.

Three democratic members of congress who were sworn in this January have died in the first four-plus months of the session.
The family of Dem Rep. Gerry Connolly announced that he has died at 75. Connolly had been fighting cancer.

He "passed away peacefully at his home this morning surrounded by family," Connolly's family said in a statement.

which is to say you Should keep an eye out for the very small details like the way nyaan and machu are placed together in scenes. notice how often they are never presented on the "same level of height", how there's visual barriers separating them, etc.
