Hello! I'm Jean Cabot and I do #comics and #ceramics.

My hubsite is hamsterbandit.com which also contains the fiction I write, which is primarily ghost stories.

My #webcomic is hamsterwheel.art which is a diary comic where events are MUCH more impressive via presenting them as a hamster.
Comic. A snowboarder is shown doing an amazing feat labelled 'Olympian'. Following this, a hamster in snowboots labelled 'me' gets on a snowboard and immediately explodes. Comic. Hamham and his mother (a guinea pig) are emptying boxes on a deck. They discover Hamham's baby shoes in the latest box and Guineamom has a flashback to when Hamham was very small and wearing them. Hamham says 'so. Trash?' and a tear-filled Guineamom says 'you have misread the moment, my child' 3 ceramic cats around a loonie. 3 ceramic hedgehogs around a loonie.

a rug/cover set for your toilet. the rug around the bottom looks like Santa's jacket and belt, so that the toilet comes out of the neck hole. the toilet seat cover is Santa's face and hat.

my fave creature designs from a few months ago
Digital painting of a reptilian monster called "Goddess of Serene Shores". It's almost crocodilian in body-type, but with a longer torso, tail, and neck. Its head is similar to a carnivorous therapod, or traditional skull designs of dragons, and its throat sack can expand just a bit. There are sails/fins on its back, its underside, and along the ridges of its tail. Its coloration is greatly inspired by Mandarinfish, with ornate patterns of oranges, greens and blues. Digital painting of a pterosaur-like beast called "Wyvern Of The Sea". Its head, neck and upper torso is mostly white, it has a long yellow bill with sharp tips similar to a snapping turtle, a crest on top of its top beak, and an expandable pouch on its throat, similar to a pelican. There is a voluminous pouch of expandable sac around its neck and chest, similar to a Frigatebird, but it seems more decorative than functional. Its lower torso is a black color, with strong bird legs, that have blue webbed feet, similar to the bird Booby. Its tail is long, with fins running on its side, and on its tips. It has wings that are more webbed than they are feathered, with a protruding thumb similar to a bat's, and three noticeable digits that are flat than they are wiry. It seems this creature is more reptilian and hydrodynamic, than it is avian and capable of flight. Digital painting of a reptilian monster called "Crimson Siren". The creature is a giant lizard with an expanding vocal sac similar to a frog, as well as a proboscis that's situated on its forehead, similar to an elephant seal's, and a pair of semi flat bull horns sitting atop its brow-bones. The creature has extremely long arms and legs that have dexterous digits and sharp claws, and it has a giant whip-like tail with a spiky end. Its body is mostly black in coloration, its arms and half of its tail a mid-tone yellow. Its head and belly are a blaring red, with its expanding throat having peculiar patterns that are vibrant and striking, almost like they're emulating eyes.

Back to my bs with rambling about my own drawings☝️
Who is the ‘knight’? The metal encasing or the man inside? Who is responsible and who is in control? Personally, I’m fascinated by knight romanticism for two reasons: the visualization of knights in stories and art and the more factual aspects of knighthood. The former usually telling us about modern anxieties and conceptualization of this pinnacle in almost romantic masculinity and latter about…well, history. I’ve always seen Wreg as a man of both of these worlds. He romanticizes knights himself – he easily falls in love with fellow knights and hopes to hold knighthood to high standard but ultimately leaves his title and life behind in face of what being one means. While ‘Knight and Dream’ was on paper a master study, the thought behind the piece was very much of Wreg’s romantic aspects of Knighthood, and it was always meant to go hand in hand with this piece. Armor: The armour clambering on Wreg’s shoulders is his own. Be it the weight of responsibility, expectations, or past – the weight is heavy burden to carry, especially as it tries to take control in an eternal struggle between man and an ideal. (There’re especially interesting papers on medieval masculinity and the idea of a struggle between body and mind that I relate to Wreg’s character a lot especially as a knight) Banner: The banner depicts not only Wreg’s own insignia of a growling wolf, but also his family line’s heraldry, and the extensive families as well. While he presents himself as a knight, in and out of armour, he also represents his immediate, extensive family, and ultimately whole lineage with his actions. (His family line wears a wolf with red-tipped tail, while other known lines include purple and golden tail. I also love how banners with both fringe and schwenkel look like so..that’s what they have now.) Sword: While there’s clear divide between the man and armour, they still share the same body and same decisions. Wreg is a man burdened by myriad of things, and yet he is an active player in his own story. He ultimately holds the sword and has the final decision to give in or make his own path. The sword is sharp enough and as if to test its blade Wreg has cut his other palm.

A close up of a wooden toy clown with a white face with black and read make-up. His expression is one of a creature who would happily and gleefully disembowel you with a spanner. Another group shot with the clowns in back and the ringmaster in front. The ringmaster looks less outwardly malevolent, but his arm looks extra elongated and his hand is just a wooden peg which makes it look like xenomorph is just being birthed from his sleeve. There is also a very unpleasant bulge in his trousers. The circus set in a box, giving you the POV of someone who has just become eternally cursed.
