Hey y'all, our friend @blogofmanythings.art needs help getting her insulin pump covered again! It is ridiculous that this is not something she just gets to HAVE, but you know, America is being America. If you have any quarters under the couch you can toss her way, it would be amazing!

Gotcha. I didn't ride that leg as often but would definitely recommend the Transit app since it's not a rapid transit line. Being able to see how much time I actually have to reach the bus has been handy

Probably depends on where you're getting on and off. A lot of the route in St. Paul was under construction earlier this year and it was an endless stream of substitute drivers when I was riding in that time frame. The transit app (not metro transit app; app called Transit) is helpful with the 61

There are steps outlined on the linked page but they do require effort, access, and advance planning. Just wanted to emphasize that this will also apply to things like medical appeals that use a postmark date.
Relevant to anyone who sends time-sensitive payments, taxes, legal documents, or ballots through the U.S. Postal Service: the USPS has changed its rules for postmarking mail; postmark date might be days later than actual date of mailing, unless customers take specific steps: nstp.org/article/usps...

We had an auction company handle most of what was at the farm but my mother insisted we had to accept anything the grandparents offered so we could get rid of it on our own, and then refused to allow us to get rid of any of it. It's gonna be so bad.

My family owned the same house for nearly 200 years. Everyone who left or died left their shit. There was a huge hoise, barns, silos, a warehouse... Now it's all in my parents' basement and they refuse to deal with it. It's not money, and it's not valuable. It's soul sucking dumpster bait.

A rapidly-intensifying storm is expected to bring heavy snow, blizzard conditions, and icing from the Upper Midwest through the Great Lakes and Northeast. Scattered severe thunderstorms may produce severe/damaging wind gusts and a couple of tornadoes across parts of the Midwest and lower Ohio Valley

Y'all made Christmas so much better for M's family, and we're gonna take that into 2026!

While helping M with this, I found out she's also several months behind on rent. Her landlord is very understanding, but that has limits, and this needs to be paid soon.

If you can help or share, please do!
Time for some CHRISTMAS MAGIC, y'all.

A single mom I know locally has had her electricity cut off for non-payment. If anyone can help out, I'd definitely like to get her squared away by Christmas Eve.
